"I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for kids, especially those at risk. I honestly didn’t know much about CASA does until recently, and the mission greatly appealed to me. I work for CoxHealth and am responsible for the Legal Department where we daily deal with issues involving kids and their families who are often struggling with a variety of issues. The mission of CASA speaks to me both personally and professionally.

How can you not love an organization whose mission it is to assist the court in protecting the best interests of abused and neglected children in Southwest Missouri? I am new to the Board, but I could tell from day one that the staff and board are 100% invested in the mission and truly care. That’s a wonderful organization to be a part of.

I look forward to learning more about what CASA does and how CASA improves the lives of kids in foster care even just a little. I also look forward to giving of my time for events and anything else necessary to help CASA educate the community on the good work it does and to continue to grow to better serve the needs of kids in foster care in our community."
