Meet CASA Volunteer Paige!

For nearly three decades, Paige has been devoted to raising and nurturing her five children alongside her husband, Matt. Now living in the peaceful countryside of Stone County, their family traded suburban life in Saint Charles for a former dairy farm filled with horses, cows, chickens, three dogs, and one very adorable mini donkey named Cecil.

After spending over 20 years as a stay-at-home mom, Paige knew she wanted to give back in a different way once her children were all in school. She had first heard about CASA from a friend and knew right away it was something she’d one day pursue. That day came in 2017, when she completed her CASA training and took on her first case – a sibling set of three.

“I’ve had three sibling groups so far, and every child has left a mark on my heart,” she says. that first sibling group still holds a special place in her life. After their case closed, Paige remained connected with them-offering guidance, love, and even introducing them to her church’s youth group. Eventually, they chose to be baptized and asked her to perform the baptism. “It was on one of the greatest honors of my life,” she shares.

Looking back, she knows she’s made a positive impact on the lives of eight children she’s served through CASA-but she’s quick to add, “They’ve made an even bigger impact on me. I’m a better person for knowing them.”

Her message to others considering becoming a CASA is: “If you have a heart for kids, do it. You’ll help them through one of the hardest parts of their childhood, and you might be surprised by how much you benefit in return.”

We’re deeply grateful to Paige for her compassion, commitment, and the incredible difference she continues to make in the lives of children. Her story is a beautiful reminder of how powerful one caring adult can be.
