Empowered to Connect

Empowered to Connect - Stream from Home!

You can now sign up to watch the Empowered to Connect Rewind from the comfort of your own home.  Once you register on our site, you will receive a confirmation email with the link and information on how to view the conference from your home.

Empowered to Connect is a 2-day event that focuses on the needs of children who have experienced trauma. This event supports individuals working with children from hard places (especially children who have been impacted by adoption and foster care). You will learn the impact of trauma on a child's developing brain and body as well as learn practical ways to help bring healing to a hurting child. You will learn from top experts in the field about the importance of connection, understanding sensory needs and handling difficult behavior. Most importantly you will learn how to provide support for children who need it the most.

Individuals like (i.e. foster/adoptive parents, CASA volunteers, teachers, therapists, child welfare professionals, GAL's, and so many more) will find this event to be life-changing for the children they serve.

Featuring Trust-Based Relational Intervention® methods developed by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross from the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development, this conference helps bring attachment and connection in families.

This will be a REWIND conference of 2018 Empowered to Connect Conference Simulcast. The $5 admission covers the two-day conference.  If you have questions, please contact Rebecca Weber at or call 417.770.4380.
